The JV Knights took on St. David's School Thursday night, in what turned out to be a nail biter until the very end. St.David came out strong outscoring the Knights 18-15 in the first quarter, but the Knight would strike back in the 2nd. Led by a 13 point 2nd quarter by Emery Simmons the Knights outscored St. David 26-16, taking a 41-34 lead into half-time. In the third, St. David's came out firing from behind the arc, St.David hit 6 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter of play. Going into the 4th St.David's was up 56-55. But in the 4th quarter the Knights would exert their dominance and reign supreme, led by another strong quarter from Simmons with 16 points, the Knights outscored St. David's 18-10. The Knights went on to win 73-66. Simmons led all scorers with 38 points his season high!
